Bund

The Bund (from Bundesanleihen), are the Government Bonds issued by the German government and are comparable to the Italian BTP.
They are multi-year investment products, issued in the medium and long term (maturities vary from four to thirty years).

Due to their importance, they are considered by operators as a point of reference for the bond market.
The issuance of German government bonds is considered a "gold standard" or benchmark in Europe (even after the creation of the Euro).
