Decoupling

The English term decoupling is used to indicate the separation between two economic factors, which if at one time went hand in hand later distanced themselves. An example of decoupling can be the trend of emerging economies in contrast to stable ones.

In many cases, the growth or decrescita of a country, a security or a currency have characteristics that are totally separated from factors that should instead influence them.
