Financial consultancy consists of the advisory and portfolio management activities of an economic entity, whether as an individual or a company or institution.
It provides for the management of the client’s capital to achieve certain equity and financial objectives of the latter. In doing so, investment or financing solutions are proposed by making use of financial instruments of various kinds, not only of investment or financing, but also of an insurance type.
The business also aims both at optimizing the relationship between risk and return and at maintaining the client’s financial balance.
The subject of financial advice has recently been updated by the novelties introduced by the directive Mifid II which reorganized the entire financial system and increased the rules on customer protection.
