Luiz Inacio Lula is a Brazilian politician, leader of the Workers’ Party and new president of Brazil after his victory with 50.9% of the votes in the 2022 general elections where he managed to defeat Jair Bolsonaro.
In the past, Lula has already been president of Brazil twice, before being imprisoned for corruption charges which later turned out to be unfounded.
