Phishing

The term phishing refers to computer scams whose purpose is the theft of users’ personal data. It is one of the most widespread and dangerous hacking practices.

A phishing attack typically occurs via email whose content is informative and which is apparently sent by banks or web service portals. These messages alert you to problems with your account and provide suggestions for solving them, asking you to click on a few links or enter information such as passwords and credit card codes to restore your account and secure it.

It is easy to recognize a phishing attack: the emails are written in incorrect Italian, have no official logos, contain alarming messages and ask for personal data.
