Quantitative Easing

Quantitative Easing: what is it?
Quantitative Easing (abbr. QE) is an operation that falls within the complex of monetary policies adopted by a central bank.

The Quantitative Easing , whose literal translation is "quantitative easing", is also called in Italian "easing monetary "or QE.

Why QE?
By implementing a monetary easing plan, central banks set themselves up as buyers of goods (generally shares or government bonds) with money created "from scratch" and in order to stimulate economic growth (for this QE is also called "stimulus").
