Tax deductions

What are tax deductions and how are they calculated?
tax deductions are a particular category of tax breaks consisting in the reduction of the tax base on which taxes are calculated.

In practice, in the case of tax deductions, the taxable income is reduced by deducting a certain sum.

For example: if I produce an income of 20,000 euros and I am entitled to deductions of 3,000 euros, the taxable income on which to calculate taxes will be equal to 17,000 euros.

Be careful not to confuse tax deductions and tax deductions.
Tax deductions represent discounts or reductions in the tax (and not in the tax base as in the case of tax deductions).
