The transfer market is that period in which football teams, of each category, can officially make purchases or sales. There have been two transfer windows for some time.
The first is that of the summer transfer market, which begins on July 1st and ends at the end of August, while the second window is that of the winter transfer transfer, also called repair market, which takes place during the month of January.
To try to uniform the periods in which the transfer market is open in the main championships, UEFA has tried to establish common dates but in the end each Federation can choose independently.
