Artificial intelligence

The Artificial intelligence, also called A.I. (Artificial Intelligence), is the discipline that studies the possibility of creating machines and computer programs capable of solving problems autonomously from man with the logical and rational reasoning of mankind. This is why it has a very strong link with electronics and robotics.

The mathematician Alan Turing is considered the father of artificial intelligence for having hypothesized a machine capable of performing any type of calculation without the help of man. The Turing machine is the basis of modern computers.

Examples of artificial intelligence are the virtual assistants present on PCs and mobile devices (Siri, Cortana, Alexa, Bixby), the robots and the behavior of characters in video games such as the one developed from the FIFA 17 AI system.
