Emmanuel Macron is the President of the French republic in office since May 14, 2017. Born in Amiens on December 21, 1977 and married to Brigitte Trogneux, is the leader of the En Marche! after leaving the Socialist Party. In the past, he served as Minister of Economy (from 2014 to 2016) during the presidency of Francoise Hollande.
With a brand new party born practically out of nowhere, Emmanuel Macron ran for the 2017 French presidential election where he bested Marine Le Pen on the ballot with 66%.
The same challenge was then repeated also in the 2022 elections, where Macron obtained a second presidential term by overcoming Le Pen, again in the runoff, with 58% of the votes.
