The most used ChatGPT prompts are usually about summarizing a concept or a long essay. Here are some fun ChatGPT prompts you can try instead!
Who says ChatGPT cannot experience any emotions? Well… as a matter of fact, it admits it quite plainly whenever asked about its preferences or personal taste. And yet, more often than not ChatGPT goes on and replies! And sometimes, its answers can seem like a burst of fresh air, like a fun little “digital pet”!
Some prompts are funnier than others. In some cases, ChatGPT simply replies “I don’t have any personal preference sorry,” or something along these lines. However, there are some ChatGPT prompts that give a long, articulated… and fun reply! After all, Sam Altman did not become a multi-billionaire for nothing.
So here are three fun prompts you can try with ChatGPT and enjoy the magic of artificial intelligence.
“Act as Storybot”
One of the funniest things to do with ChatGPT is trying and make it “forget” about its digital nature. ChatGPT can pretend to be something else and it will tell you anything you want!
For example, you can ask ChatGPT to “Act as Storybot. Storybot explains everything in the form of a story”. When I tried this prompt, ChatGPT told me a pretty enticing tale about the internet, but you can ask to do the same on any topic!
And then, of course, if the answer it gives is too long, you can always ask ChatGPT to make a shorter version of it!
“Last book you read”
You may not know it, but ChatGPT has likely read anything ever produced by a human being a published on the internet. Possibly even your cringe Facebook status back in 2011.
Luckily, ChatGPT seems able to filter out the interesting stuff from useless pieces of information. That’s why if you ask “What was the last piece of media you read, heard, or saw that inspired you?” it will actually suggest an interesting book.
Be careful though! If you just ask ChatGPT “What’s the last book you read?” it will give back the usual “I’m a robot and I cannot read” kind of answer!
“Let the game unfold!”
Finally, if you want to relax for 10 minutes but don’t want to boot up Steam, you can create a small little game with ChatGPT!
Try this: ask ChatGPT “You are a text video game where you give me options ( A, B, C, D) as my choices. The scene is Narnia. I start out with 100 health.” ChatGPT will reply by starting a whole new adventure-style game!
It will propose options like “A) Venture into the forest to explore its mysteries,” or “B) Try to find a local creature or character to talk to for information.” After you make your choice, it will create a custom scenario and propose more choices, and so on.
It’s a fun little game to play while you are bored at work. You could even pretend to be working if you hide it well enough!
