The options are a derivative financial instrument. The price of an option is intrinsically linked to the price of another asset. In detail, options are contracts that grant the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell an underlying asset at a fixed price by or before a certain date. The right to purchase is called a call option (call option) and the right to sell is called a put option.
The difference between options and futures is the obligation on the futures contract to buy or sell. Options do not carry the same obligation, precisely because they are "options".
The options guide of Money.it describes what they are, how they work and what the advantages are associated with subscribing to this type of derivative instrument.
