Since the re-establishment of democracy, Poland has continued a policy of market liberalization and, at the moment, represents one of the most fortunate cases of transition from communism to a market economy.
In the primary sector, Poland has one of the highest employment rates in the European Union. Often, the soil is not very fertile and the agricultural sector appears to be underdeveloped at a mechanical level.
