Government crisis

The government crisis occurs whenever the Council of Ministers loses the support of Parliament, due to the interruption of the relationship of trust with the legislative power.

There are two types of government crisis: parliamentary and extra-parliamentary crisis. The first verification following the vote of a motion of no confidence or the vote against a question of confidence, the second, on the other hand, is the consequence of a political crisis.

In any case, it is up to the President of the Republic to recompose the executive order, refer back to the Houses or call early elections.
