lithium is a chemical element, number 3 in the periodic table of elements. It is a alkali metal, the lightest of solid elements and perfect for use as a conductor of heat but also in medicine for the treatment of bipolar disorder.

Its greatest use at the moment, however, is that for the realization of the batteries of mobile phones, tablets and electric cars. This is a factor that has led lithium to be defined as “white gold or the “oil of the future”.

Throughout the world there is currently a great abundance of this material, with the largest largest deposits of lithium which are however concentrated in South America and above all in Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.
