Telegram is a secure messaging application provided by the company Telegram LLC.
The Telegram app is free to download and is cloud-based by instant sync. This means that you can use Telegram from multiple devices at the same time and that all messages are synchronized on any device.
Founded on 14 August 2013 by brothers Nikolai and Pavel Durov, Telegram is now used to exchange more than 15 billion messages a day. In addition to the mobile app, Telegram also exists in the desktop version for PC.
Telegram, on a Whatsapp mold, allows you to send messages, photos, videos, animated gifs, files of all kinds with sizes up to 1.5GB; to create chat groups of up to 5000 members (Supergroups) and broadcast messages to an unlimited audience (Channels).
Since June 2015 Telegram has introduced a platform to allow third-party developers to create Bots. The Bots are Telegram accounts, managed by a program, which offer multiple features with immediate and fully automated responses.
Since January 2016, a new inline mode is available for bots, which allows you to use these features simply by quoting it with the at sign @ in any chat or group.
