And the ex-president’s election committee has spent more than 12 million dollars in recent weeks to attack DeSantis, who in turn is using a battle against Disney to sew on himself the role of champion of conservatives.
DeSantis not only focuses on his battle against transgender and the woke ideology, but also intends to recall what he has done in Florida in recent years to fight against "the dictatorship of doctors" and "the health authoritarianism”, refusing masks and vaccine obligations against Covid.
According to the polls by The Hill, for the moment The Donald would have a clear advantage with 58% of the votes among the voters of the Republican Party, against DeSantis with 16% in the poll, down 4 points from the previous survey.
