World Economic Forum

The World Economic Forum is a non-profit foundation based in Geneva. Founded in 1971 by Klaus Schwab, a Swiss economist and academic, in addition to meetings and gatherings, the Forum produces a whole series of research reports and engages its members in specific sector initiatives.

Every year the foundation organizes an important meeting in Davos, which brings together the major international political and economic leaders, intellectuals and selected journalists, to discuss the most urgent issues facing the world, including health and the environment.
