How much is Worldcoin worth?
At the moment, one Worldcoin token is worth $1.51, up almost 50% since mid-September.
Based on current trends, Worldcoin could gain 329% by 2025, and 322% by 2030. That, of course, will only be possible if Worldcoin breaks every support target, which almost always never happens.
Indeed, there are several indicators that point to an upcoming bearish pattern for Worldcoin. The 3, 5, 10, and 21-day simple moving averages all scream investors to sell right now. Only the 50-day moving average suggests buying Worldcoin.
What this might tell us is that Worldcoin, like most cryptocurrencies, is not a good investment to make right now. Instead, buyers should expect a few years of slow growth and a long-term return.
On the other hand, several privacy regulators warned against buying Worldcoin. Many European regulators launched an investigation into Worldcoin after Sam Altman organized a global selling campaign.
Altman’s company placed iris-scanning orbs in several metropolises across the planet. Any user that willingly scanned their iris would receive a free Worldcoin token.
How to become an orb operator?
In order to widen its reach, Worldcoin allows users to become orb operators. In order to apply, users can simply follow the procedure on the official site. After asking for some basic information, the Worldcoin staff will schedule an interview with the applicants. Successful candidates will receive their Worldcoin orb and will be given basic training.
Orb operators will be paid according to how many users they manage to scan. Payments will consist of either Worldcoin tokens or a flat fee in real-world currencies.
According to Worldcoin’s own site, 2,35 million people scanned their IDs and received at least one token. 2,000 orbs were manufactured in just 78 days since launch, with over 101,000 daily transactions.
