• Open the Messenger app on your smartphone;
• click the Menu icon (made up of three horizontal lines) at the top left;
• select the gear-shaped Settings icon at the top right;
• select Privacy and security;
• in the Permissions section, simply select Messenger with Facebook;
• tap Manage your Messenger experience;
• select Create a new Messenger account, following the settings step by step.

If someone wants to use Messenger without a Facebook account, then simply delete their social media account. From March 6, users will be able to register for the chat service without a Meta account, but this is only possible on Android or iOS. On tablets and computers, it will not be possible to register a new account without Facebook.

• video;

The social chat and stories, however, cannot be used, since the Messenger group chat does not support any social functions provided by Facebook.

Still. The contacts from the original Facebook account will not be transferred to the new Messenger account without Facebook. However, you can reload contacts to Messenger from your smartphone or manually search for contacts by name or username. Security features, however, will be retained, so you can disable contacts and continue reporting conversations or contacts.
